We are looking for a Senior Solicitor that is interested in creating forward-thinking legislative reform at a system level. You will be able to provide client focussed legal services and demonstrate proven experience in the public sector. You will have an interest in how primary and secondary legislation is made, the parliamentary process and legislative design.
You will also provide advice to support Te Manat Waka on ensuring good practice in relation to matters such as privacy statutory decision-making and other legal matters that arise for government departments. The nature of the transport system and the legislation we administer means our work is varied and challenging.
